“My initial interaction was with Kerri Romig RDH, the woman that cleaned my teeth for me. She was friendly, knowledgeable, gentle and kind. I felt better about the situation with my teeth and wasn’t so much ready to give up hope and have them all surgically pulled and replaced with dentures. When I saw Doctor McGovern, she looked me in the eye, and told me the truth of my situation, which I appreciated. She showed videos of the possible procedures I may need and was very helpful in understanding my anxiety. She saw that I was beginning to get overwhelmed with the depth of care that I need and backed off and reassured me that I was going to be okay and that all the decisions were mine. I have A LOT wrong with my teeth, so I understand that I was going to hear a lot of unpleasant information, it just overwhelmed me to hear it all at once.
